Residential Painter

Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and repairing drywall or plaster to ensure optimal paint adhesion Apply primers, paints, stains, and sealers using hand tools and power tools such as airless sprayers and brushes Read blueprints, schematics, and schematics to accurately follow design specifications and color schemes based on color theory principles Perform finishing tasks including trim carpentry, fixture installation, and restoration work to enhance aesthetic appeal Conduct surface preparation for renovation projects involving masonry, stucco, or concrete finishing Use construction estimating skills to assess project scope and materials needed for residential painting jobs Maintain safety protocols on construction sites while working with industrial painting techniques or working at heights Experience Proven experience in residential painting with a solid understanding of construction site procedures Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and industrial equipment such as airless paint sprayers Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and basic math for accurate measurements and calculations Knowledge of related trades including carpentry (trim carpentry, frame carpentry), masonry, plastering, and restoration techniques Hands-on experience with renovation projects involving remodeling or handyman tasks is highly desirable Ability to work efficiently on construction sites while adhering to safety standards and project timelines Prior exposure to commercial or industrial painting environments is a plus but not required Embark on a rewarding career where your expertise transforms living spaces!
