ABOUT THE ROLE
The Painter is responsible for performing accurate and efficient painting and wall coverings. Duties include, but are not limited to, the interior and exterior maintenance of painted areas of the community. Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a
Painter:
Perform assigned painting/wallcovering as directed. Maintain the esthetics of high traffic common areas (painting and wallcovering). Restore painted areas in vacated units to like-new conditions. Perform drywall repairs as needed. Accomplishes all work in the order of priority set by supervisor. Take all safety precautions concerning residents, staff, and visitors (i.e. utilize 'wet paint' signs, safety cones, and caution tape). Maintain all tools, equipment and supplies in proper condition. Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy. Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have: Working knowledge of commercial and residential painting/wallcovering. Proficiency in the English language enabling the employee to read, write, comprehend, and communicate simple instructions, correspondence, memos, etc. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving few concrete variables in standardized situations. Willingness to be available for any/all emergencies regarding the community. Doctor's statement verifying free from communicable disease, if applicable in your state Must be flexible and have integrity.
