In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, stains, and finishes to a variety of surfaces in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Your expertise will help transform environments, enhance aesthetics, and ensure quality standards are met with precision. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and patching to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and power tools Read blueprints and schematics to determine project scope, color schemes based on color theory principles, and specific application techniques Execute residential painting tasks including wall coatings, trim carpentry, caulking, plastering, and restoration projects Perform commercial and industrial painting tasks on construction sites utilizing advanced techniques like airless spraying and welding when necessary Handle renovation projects involving drywall installation, framing (frame carpentry), stucco application, masonry work, and fixture installation Maintain a clean work environment by properly storing tools such as hand tools and power tools while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites Collaborate with construction teams to interpret schematics and blueprints accurately for precise project execution Conduct minor repairs such as caulking gaps or cracks and perform maintenance tasks related to painting equipment or site cleanup Experience Proven experience in residential painting with knowledge of color theory for effective color matching and aesthetic appeal Hands-on experience with commercial and industrial painting projects on construction sites Familiarity with construction estimating processes to assess project scope and materials needed Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, ladders, and spray equipment including airless paint sprayers Strong understanding of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations Experience with plastering, stucco application, masonry work, renovation projects, drywall installation, framing carpentry (including trim carpentry), caulking, fixture installation, concrete finishing, masonry work, welding (if applicable), restoration work, maintenance tasks in construction environments Knowledge of safety standards related to construction painting environments including proper handling of hazardous materials when necessary Join us if you're passionate about transforming spaces through expert painting techniques!
