  • Job Overview
  • We are seeking an experienced Crew Leaders to join our team.
As a Crew Leader, you will be responsible for applying paint and other finishes to various surfaces. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently. You will have one or more painters that report to you. The crew leader is tasked with giving daily communications with both the office and the clients. You will also be responsible for getting the job competed under budget and keeping your workers on task.
  • Responsibilities
  • Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, and filling holes
  • Manage individual projects and painters
  • Apply paint or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
  • Be capable of taking a paint sample to the paint store
  • Ensure proper coverage and smooth finish
  • Provide, Clean and maintain your own painting tools and equipment
  • Follow safety guidelines and use protective gear as required
  • Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Painter in the construction industry
  • Knowledge of construction painting techniques and materials
  • Familiarity with stucco, trim carpentry, fixture installation, frame carpentry, drywall repair, etc.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Proficient in using hand tools and painting equipment
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
