Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Painter to join our team and bring spaces to life with vibrant, flawless finishes. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint and coatings, and ensuring that every project meets our high standards of quality and durability. Your expertise will help us deliver exceptional results that enhance the aesthetic appeal and value of our clients' properties. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, and patching to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and specialty coatings using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and power tools Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately determine project scope and specifications Perform construction painting tasks on residential, commercial, industrial, and renovation sites while adhering to safety standards Execute finishing touches including caulking, trim carpentry, fixture installation, and restoration work to achieve polished results Utilize construction estimating skills to assess project requirements and materials needed for each job Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris responsibly throughout the project lifecycle Requirements Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, or construction site work with a strong understanding of construction painting techniques Skilled in using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, caulking guns, plastering tools, masonry equipment, and power tools including saws and welders Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately for precise application of paint and coatings Knowledge of color theory to select appropriate hues for aesthetic harmony and client preferences Familiarity with renovation processes including framing carpentry, trim carpentry, stucco application, masonry work, concrete finishing, and restoration projects Basic math skills for measurements, estimations, and material calculations Strong construction site experience with adherence to safety protocols and quality standards Handyman experience or related skills in maintenance tasks are a plus Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments Join us if you're passionate about transforming spaces with precision craftsmanship!
