In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to various surfaces across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will ensure that each project is completed with precision, quality, and attention to detail. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other finishes using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and power tools Read blueprints and schematics to determine project scope and specific requirements for each job Perform surface preparation tasks including plastering, caulking, stucco application, drywall finishing, and masonry work Execute renovation projects involving trim carpentry, fixture installation, restoration work, and framing as needed Use construction estimating skills to assess material needs and project timelines accurately Maintain safety standards on construction sites by using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safety protocols Skills Extensive experience with residential and commercial painting projects Proficiency in construction estimating and blueprint reading for precise project execution Strong knowledge of color theory to achieve desired aesthetic effects Skilled in the use of hand tools such as brushes, rollers, scrapers, caulking guns, and power tools including saws and drills Familiarity with construction site procedures including scaffolding setup and safety practices Ability to perform plastering, stucco application, masonry work, and basic carpentry including trim carpentry and framing Experience with industrial painting techniques and fixture installation for large-scale projects Knowledge of schematics related to renovation or restoration projects Basic math skills for measuring surfaces and calculating material quantities Handyman experience with maintenance tasks such as concrete finishing or welding when required Ability to work efficiently on construction sites with a focus on quality craftsmanship Join our team if you're ready to bring vibrant colors to life while building a rewarding career in the construction industry!
