In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of surfaces in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Your expertise will help transform spaces, enhance their durability, and bring architectural visions to life. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that require precision, creativity, and a strong work ethic. You will collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to ensure high-quality results that meet client specifications and safety standards. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, and sprayers including airless paint spraying equipment. Perform construction painting tasks on various surfaces including drywall, stucco, masonry, concrete, and wood. Execute restoration and renovation projects by repairing damaged surfaces with plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, and masonry techniques. Use power tools safely for surface preparation and finishing tasks while maintaining proper tool care. Install fixtures, moldings, trim carpentry elements, and perform maintenance or handyman tasks as needed on construction sites. Requirements Experience in residential and commercial painting projects is preferred, but will train the right personality. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and industrial painting equipment such as airless sprayers. Skills in plastering, caulking, stucco application, restoration work.
