Pay:

Work is performed at various job sites throughout Chicagoland , with occasional travel to Wisconsin. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing imperfections Fill cracks and holes using appropriate materials Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment Protect surrounding areas using drop cloths and masking materials Perform drywall repair, caulking, and minor surface preparation Complete touch-ups and ensure high-quality finishes Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition Communicate professionally with supervisors, team members, and clients Safety Commitment Safety is a core value at PPD Painting. We provide OSHA safety compliance training and require strict adherence to safety procedures at all times.

Employees must:

Follow all jobsite safety guidelines Wear required PPE and safety harnesses when needed Ensure proper ventilation when working with paints or chemicals Report any equipment issues immediately (such as lift leaks or safety hazards) Requirements Proven experience as a professional painter Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to travel to assigned job sites throughout Chicagoland Comfortable working on ladders and operating lifts Must be able to speak, read, and understand English Ability to read and follow job proposals and instructions Must have basic painting tools (brushes, rollers, ladder preferred) Preferred Experience Experience with drywall repair, caulking, plastering, and minor carpentry Experience working on commercial projects Types of Projects Our team works on a variety of projects including: Residential properties Commercial buildings HOAs and multi-family properties Warehouses Places of worship Busy Season & Lift Certification -IL During our peak season (summer through fall), exterior work increases significantly. All field painters must be lift certified or willing to obtain certification .
