Commercial Painter (experienced) Cicero Construction Group Plainfield, IL Job Details Full-time $25 - $38 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Travel reimbursement Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance 401(k) matching Qualifications Construction painting Renovation painting Driver's License Full Job Description We are looking for a skilled and dependable Commercial Painter to become part of our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in commercial painting, with experience handling both interior and exterior painting for a variety of building types, including offices, retail spaces, schools, and other commercial properties. Special consideration and extra pay compensation will be considered for someone with a background of Wallpaper installation.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary. Apply paint, varnishes, stains, and coatings to a variety of surfaces, including walls, ceilings, doors, windows, and trim. Operate and maintain painting equipment such as sprayers, rollers, and brushes. Perform minor repairs on surfaces, including patching holes and cracks. Qualifications Valid Drivers License experience in commerical painting Strong knowledge of different types of paints, primers, and finishes, and their appropriate applications. Physical stamina to work for long hours, lift heavy materials, and work at heights when necessary.
