We specialize in residential and light commercial painting , cabinet refinishing, drywall repair, epoxy flooring, and staining services. Our reputation is built on attention to detail, clean job sites, respectful crews, and consistent client satisfaction. We are now hiring experienced Journeyman or Journeywoman Painters who are looking for full-time, year-round work with opportunities for growth, leadership, and long-term career success. Responsibilities Read and interpret work orders and scopes of work Examine job sites to determine proper painting methods, materials, and timelines Prepare surfaces: masking, sanding, scraping, patching, and priming Apply paint, stain, and specialty finishes using brush, roller, and sprayer techniques Perform drywall repairs and patchwork with skill and cleanliness Move necessary materials around the job site as assigned Maintain a clean and organized work area daily Safely operate ladders, lifts, and standard painting tools and equipment Communicate professionally with clients and crew throughout each job Make recommendations to improve quality, efficiency, or safety Represent Powers Painting with professionalism, punctuality, and pride Required Qualifications 5+ years of residential painting experience (interior and/or exterior) Proficient in painting, spraying, and drywall repair Experience with a wide range of painting tools and techniques Physical strength and manual dexterity to lift, carry, and use equipment safely Strong time management and follow-through — show up on time, finish what you start Valid driver's license and reliable daily transportation Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Comfortable climbing ladders and working indoors/outdoors in various conditions Preferred Qualifications Experience in commercial painting Basic light carpentry (trim, baseboard replacement, etc.) Comfort using jobsite apps for scheduling, time tracking, or team communication (e.g., CompanyCam, QuickBooks Workforce, Slack) Benefits Competitive pay : $23
