- Join Damian's Painting Damian's Painting is looking for an experienced Lead Painter to join our growing team.
We specialize in high-end residential and commercial painting, cabinet refinishing, drywall repairs, and exterior painting throughout the Chicagoland area. This position is for a skilled painter who can lead a crew, maintain quality standards, communicate effectively with clients, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Responsibilities Lead and manage painting crews on residential and commercial projects Oversee daily job site operations and ensure projects stay on schedule Perform interior and exterior painting, cabinet refinishing, and surface preparation Train and mentor painters on proper techniques and company standards Conduct quality control inspections throughout each project Communicate with clients professionally and address any concerns on-site Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Track materials, equipment, and labor hours Complete daily job site reports and project updates Qualifications 5+ years of professional painting experience Previous leadership or crew management experience preferred Strong knowledge of interior and exterior painting systems Experience with spraying, brushing, rolling, drywall repairs, and surface preparation Cabinet refinishing experience is a plus Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and crews efficiently Valid driver's license required Reliable vehicle required Ability to lift and carry painting equipment and materials What We Offer Guaranteed 40+ hours per week Competitive pay based on experience Performance bonuses Paid Time Off (PTO) Opportunities for advancement within the company Year-round work Supportive team environment Professional development and leadership growth opportunities What We're Looking For We are looking for a leader who takes ownership of projects, holds high standards, leads by example, and is committed to delivering exceptional results for every client.
