Full Job Description Description:
Position Summary:
Reports and takes direction from the Painting Supervisor and is responsible for the painting, finishing and refinishing work for all of the Building Authority properties.
Essential Duties:
Perform preventive maintenance, repair and alteration work to include; Interior and exterior painting Vinyl wall covering repair and installation Vinyl base installation Plaster and drywall patching Interior and exterior caulking 2. Assist other shops with maintenance repair. 3. Comply with Building Authority policies, procedures and safety regulations. 4. To perform any and all other duties as assigned by the Paint Supervisor.
Equipment used:
Various Brushes Pressure washers Spray equipment Putty knife Glazing tape. Caulking putty. All types of paint and stains Ladders Genie lift Motor vehicles
Safety Equipment Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent Previous experience and working knowledge with general painting finish painting and refinishing work. Previous experience and working knowledge with electrostatic and roll and brush equipment. Basic carpentry skills, including ability to read a measuring tape and operate basic power tools Ability to work flexible schedule Valid Indiana Driver's License Ability to work well with other fellow employees, outside vendors, contractors, and customers. Ability to bend, squat, climb stairs and lift frequently. Ability to lift up to at least 50 (fifty) pounds.

This position requires working independently, as well as part of a team. This position requires verbal and face-to-face contact with others on a daily basis. This position requires the use and knowledge of maintenance tools. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 20/40 vision or corrected vision is required for this role.
