Job Description

Job Summary We are a local Christian painting company seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Painter to execute high-quality painting projects across residential, commercial, and industrial sites. As a Lead Painter, you will be tasked with completion of various painting/drywall jobs (small to medium size). Your expertise in various painting techniques, surface preparation, and renovation processes will drive the success of our projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead teams, refine your skills, and contribute to transformative building improvements. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion Execute residential, commercial, and industrial painting tasks using brushes, rollers, airless paint sprayers, and other hand or power tools Perform detailed surface repairs including masonry, stucco application, drywall finishing, trim carpentry, and restoration work Maintain safety protocols on-site by using proper personal protective equipment (PPE), adhering to OSHA standards, and managing hazardous materials responsibly Lead by example in quality workmanship while mentoring team members on best practices in paint application and surface preparation Coordinate with project managers to schedule work phases efficiently and ensure seamless project flow Skills Customer Service Skills Proficiency in residential painting techniques as well as commercial and industrial painting applications Skilled in the use of hand tools such as scrapers, putty knives, caulking guns; power tools including airless sprayers, drills, sanders; welding equipment; masonry tools; concrete finishing tools; and scaffolding setup Strong understanding of surface preparation methods like plastering, drywall finishing, caulking/puttying Ability to match drywall textures on ceilings and walls Join us if you're passionate about transforming spaces through expert craftsmanship! Pay:
$27.00 - $30.00 per hour
