This paid position is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in construction painting and related trades. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other finishes using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, and airless paint sprayers. Use power tools and hand tools safely to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards. Support with industrial painting, restoration projects, and the installation of fixtures or hardware. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris responsibly throughout each project. Skills Strong knowledge of residential and commercial painting techniques with an understanding of color theory. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, airless paint sprayers, welding equipment, and other construction machinery. Familiarity with plastering, stucco application, caulking, trim carpentry, frame carpentry, masonry, concrete finishing, and renovation processes. Hands-on experience in construction site environments with knowledge of safety protocols. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with handyman experience for maintenance or repair tasks on-site. Knowledge of industrial painting practices and fixture installation techniques is a plus.
