Job Description:

Vintage Realty Company is seeking an experienced full-time painter to complete our Maintenance team at Nelson Pointe Apartment Homes in Lake Charles, Louisiana. The painter position is responsible for assisting in the make-ready process. This position is located at a Class A Apartment Community located in Lake Charles, Louisiana. This position is full-time (Hourly/non-exempt). Typical hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Job Duties:

Efficiently complete all painting projects to ensure timely move-in's Painting the interiors of apartments include preparing walls, spackling, plastering and caulking Calculate amounts of required materials and estimate costs, based on surface measurements or work orders. Strong focus on customer / resident satisfaction Received work orders and instruction from the Maintenance Supervisor to adequately determine work requirements Must possess the knowledge and skills to organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines Customer service orientation and problem-solving skills essential

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of professional painting experience Must be able to read, speak and understand English for business purposes Must be able to read and write instructions, short correspondence, memos, service requests, and to converse with residents, co-workers, and vendors in a professional manner. Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment background investigation including criminal record search, employment verification, and drug screen Vintage Realty Company provides a competitive benefits & compensation package.
