In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of surfaces across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces, ensuring high-quality results that meet client specifications and safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in diverse painting techniques while contributing to impactful projects that enhance properties and environments. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and patching to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, and sprayers (including airless paint spraying) Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute painting plans and specifications Use power tools and hand tools effectively for surface preparation, caulking, plastering, and minor carpentry tasks like trim carpentry and fixture installation Perform construction painting on various surfaces including drywall, stucco, masonry, concrete finishing, and steel structures in both residential and commercial settings Conduct restoration work on aged or damaged surfaces to improve appearance and durability Follow safety protocols on construction sites while working with hazardous materials like industrial paints or welding equipment Qualifications Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, or construction painting environments with construction site familiarity Knowledge of color theory to select appropriate hues and finishes for different projects Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and ladders safely and efficiently Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately for precise application of paint schemes Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and estimating project needs Experience with plastering, caulking, stucco application, masonry work, remodeling projects, and fixture installation is highly desirable Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus but not required Strong attention to detail combined with excellent communication skills Join us to be part of a team dedicated to transforming spaces through expert craftsmanship!
