The ideal candidate will have experience in construction painting and a strong understanding of various painting techniques and tools. This role requires attention to detail, precision, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes in various settings. Duties Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary. Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or airless paint spraying equipment to achieve a smooth finish. Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate application and coverage. Assemble and disassemble equipment as needed for different projects. Perform basic math calculations for estimating material requirements and coverage areas. Handle materials safely and efficiently in a warehouse or job site environment. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, demonstrating mechanical knowledge when necessary. Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety standards. Qualifications Proven experience in construction painting or related fields is preferred. Familiarity with airless paint spraying techniques is an advantage. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations are essential. Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively. Experience with materials handling in a warehouse setting is beneficial. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
