Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various painting techniques and a keen eye for detail. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on both residential and commercial projects. The Painter will work collaboratively with other tradespeople to achieve the desired results while adhering to safety standards and project timelines. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as needed. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements. Collaborate with carpenters and other construction professionals to ensure seamless integration of painting with other trades. Renovate and restore surfaces as required, including stucco and plaster work. Perform concrete finishing tasks as needed on various projects. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment at all times. Skills Proficient in construction painting techniques and practices. Experience with plaster application and repair is preferred. Knowledge of frame carpentry principles is a plus. Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. Familiarity with stucco application methods is advantageous. Skills in concrete finishing are desirable for various projects. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
