Full-Time Job Summary Carabetta Companies is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Painter to join our maintenance team in Worcester, MA. The Painter will be responsible for preparing and painting interior and exterior surfaces across residential apartment communities. This role plays an important part in maintaining the quality, appearance, and value of our properties while ensuring a clean and professional living environment for residents. Key Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, patching holes, and cleaning surfaces. Apply paint, stain, and coatings to interior and exterior surfaces including walls, ceilings, trim, doors, and common areas. Repair drywall and perform minor wall preparation as needed prior to painting. Protect floors, furniture, and fixtures with drop cloths, plastic coverings, and tape. Mix and match paint colors to maintain consistent finishes. Maintain a clean and organized work area during and after projects. Follow safety guidelines and proper use of ladders, scaffolding, and tools. Work with maintenance teams and property managers to complete projects on schedule. Assist with unit turnovers and property improvement projects as needed. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in professional painting in residential or apartment communities. Knowledge of painting tools, techniques, and materials. Basic drywall repair and surface preparation skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders for extended periods. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation needed.
