Commercial Painter ($25/hr + Prevailing Wage Opportunities | No Ladder Work)

Crofton, MD Schedule:

Full-Time We are currently hiring experienced Commercial Painters for full-time work in the Anne Arundel County, MD area. This is strictly commercial work — candidates must have commercial painting experience (no residential-only backgrounds). This company completes approximately 60% government work and 40% private sector projects , so professionalism, reliability, and the ability to pass a background check are critical.

Responsibilities:

Perform interior and exterior commercial painting Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, caulking, and priming Apply coatings using brushes, rollers, and airless sprayers Work with a variety of coatings including epoxies, stains, sealers, and textured finishes Install commercial wall coverings (vinyl, fabric, and specialty finishes) as needed Read basic blueprints or job specifications when required Operate lifts for elevated work ( no ladder work required ) Follow all job site safety standards Maintain clean and organized work areas

Requirements:

MUST have commercial painting experience (not residential) Experience with surface prep and spray equipment Experience with coatings such as epoxies, sealers, or industrial finishes preferred Wall covering experience ( vinyl, fabric, etc. ) is a plus Comfortable working on lifts Ability to pass a background check (required for government job sites) Reliable transportation (work primarily in Anne Arundel County) Strong attention to detail and dependable attendance
