We are looking for a skilled and reliable Painter to join our team in Detroit, MI. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces and applying paint and coatings to residential and/or commercial properties. You take pride inclean, quality finishes and bring professionalism to every job site.
R E S P O N S I B I L I T I E S
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and applying primer as needed Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment Perform interior and exterior painting on residential and/or commercialprojects Protect floors, furniture, and surrounding areas with drop cloths and masking tape Inspect finished work to ensure quality meets company and client standards Maintain and clean tools and equipment after each job Communicate professionally with clients and supervisors on-site Follow all safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
R E Q U I R E M E N TS
Minimum 2 years of professional painting experience (residential, commercial, or both) Proficiency with brushes, rollers, and spray equipment Strong knowledge of surface preparation techniques and materials Ability to work independently and as part of a crew Reliable transportation to job sites in and around Detroit Valid driver's license preferred Physical ability to stand, bend, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
C O M P E N S AT I O N & S C H E D U L E
$20.00•22.00 per hour, depending on experience Full-time position: 35-40 hours per week Monday-Friday schedule (some weekend availability may be requested) Overtime opportunities available
