In this role, you will assist experienced painters in preparing surfaces, handling tools, and supporting various painting projects across residential, commercial, and industrial sites. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop hands-on skills in construction painting while contributing to high-quality finishes that transform spaces. Your energy, reliability, and eagerness to learn will help ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and masking areas as needed Assist with mixing paints, primers, and other materials according to project specifications Handle hand tools and power tools safely to support painting tasks and surface prep Support the application of paint, stain, or other coatings under supervision of lead painters Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris, and ensuring safety protocols are followed Read blueprints or schematics to understand project requirements and specific surface details Assist with related tasks such as caulking, trim carpentry, plastering, or fixture installation as directed Experience Previous experience working on construction sites or in renovation environments is preferred but not required Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations Knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, color theory, or masonry is a plus Hands-on experience with residential or commercial painting projects is advantageous Demonstrated ability to follow safety procedures on construction sites and work well within a team Basic understanding of schematics, industrial painting techniques, or restoration processes is beneficial Willingness to learn new skills such as airless paint spraying or welding as part of career growth Join us if you're ready to build your expertise in the vibrant world of construction painting!
