As an Exterior Painter, you'll be instrumental in enhancing curb appeal and protecting structures from the elements through high-quality craftsmanship. Duties Prepare exterior surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion Apply high-quality paints, stains, and coatings using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, and spray equipment including airless paint sprayers Execute detailed exterior painting tasks on various surfaces including stucco, masonry, wood trim, siding, and metal fixtures Use schematics and blueprints to accurately measure areas and determine the appropriate materials and techniques for each project Perform surface repairs such as plastering, caulking, and restoration work to ensure a smooth finish before painting Operate power tools safely and efficiently for surface preparation and finishing tasks Collaborate with team members on renovation projects involving framing, carpentry, masonry, or fixture installation to ensure seamless project completion Maintain a clean work environment by properly handling waste materials and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times Qualifications Proven experience in residential and commercial exterior painting with knowledge of construction site practices Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and spray equipment such as airless paint sprayers Familiarity with construction estimating processes and reading schematics or blueprints for precise project execution Knowledge of color theory to assist clients in selecting appropriate hues for aesthetic appeal and durability Experience with related trades including carpentry (trim carpentry), masonry (stucco), plastering, restoration, or remodeling is a plus Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimates accurately Strong understanding of construction safety standards and site protocols to ensure a secure working environment Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients alike Join us as an Exterior Painter where your craftsmanship will make a lasting impact!
