Duties Prepare exterior surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and repairing to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply primers, paints, stains, and sealants using brushes, rollers, airless spray equipment, and power tools. Use hand tools such as scrapers, putty knives, caulking guns, and trowels to achieve smooth finishes. Perform surface repairs including plastering, stucco application, masonry work, and restoration tasks. Install fixtures, trim carpentry elements, and handle renovation or remodeling projects with precision. Maintain safety standards by adhering to construction site protocols and using appropriate personal protective equipment. Skills Proven experience in residential and commercial painting projects with a strong understanding of construction estimating. Knowledge of color theory to select appropriate hues for aesthetic appeal and durability. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying equipment, and scaffolding setups. Experience with plastering, stucco application, masonry work, caulking techniques, fixture installation, welding, and industrial painting is a plus.
