  • Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter to join our dynamic construction and renovation team.
In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of surfaces across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces, enhance aesthetics, and ensure quality craftsmanship on every project. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primer to ensure optimal adhesion of paint and coatings Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, and spray equipment including airless paint sprayers Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute painting plans and specifications Perform surface preparation tasks including plastering, caulking, stucco application, and masonry work to ensure smooth finishes Use power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently for tasks like trimming, framing, carpentry, and fixture installation Conduct restoration and renovation projects by matching colors based on color theory principles and client preferences Maintain a clean work environment by properly disposing of waste materials and ensuring all tools are stored safely after use Requirements Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, construction painting or industrial painting with at least basic knowledge of construction estimating and schematics reading Skilled in using hand tools such as caulking guns, putty knives, brushes, rollers, power sanders, and spray equipment including airless paint sprayers Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and ability to work effectively on construction sites with experience in framing carpentry, trim carpentry, masonry or concrete finishing preferred Knowledge of color theory for accurate color matching and aesthetic consistency across projects Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately for precise application of paint and finishes Strong understanding of renovation processes including plastering, restoration work, fixture installation, drywall repair, stucco application, and maintenance tasks Physical ability to stand for extended periods; lift heavy materials; operate power tools; perform manual labor in various weather conditions Basic math skills for measurements and calculations; handyman experience is a plus Join us if you're passionate about transforming spaces with expert craftsmanship!
