Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and energetic Painter to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of surfaces in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Your expertise will help transform spaces, enhance aesthetics, and ensure quality craftsmanship on every project. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that require precision, creativity, and a strong work ethic. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and patching imperfections to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply primers, paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using hand tools and power tools such as spray guns and brushes. Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute painting plans and specifications. Utilize knowledge of color theory to select appropriate colors and finishes that meet client preferences and project requirements. Perform surface preparation tasks including plastering, caulking, stucco application, and trim carpentry to create smooth foundations for painting. Requirements Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, or industrial painting environments with a solid understanding of construction site procedures. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying equipment, and welding techniques. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately for precise project execution. Knowledge of construction estimating processes related to painting projects is a plus. Strong understanding of color theory and surface preparation techniques such as sanding and patching. Basic math skills for measuring surfaces and calculating paint quantities efficiently. Experience with renovation projects involving remodeling or maintenance tasks across various construction environments.
Pay:
$25.56 - $30.79 per hour
