Experienced Painter

Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and power tools. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute painting plans. Perform specialized painting tasks and Utilize construction estimating skills to assess project scope and materials needed for efficient job completion. Maintain safety standards on construction sites by using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to safety protocols. Conduct quality inspections to ensure finishes meet client specifications and industry standards. Assist with maintenance tasks such as masonry repairs or handyman duties as needed to support project continuity. Skills Extensive experience with residential painting Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools Familiarity with construction estimating processes and basic math for material calculations. Experience working on construction sites with a solid understanding of safety procedures. Knowledge of renovation processes including remodeling and restoration projects.
