Apartment Painter

Job Summary We are seeking a talented and dedicated Apartment Painter to bring vibrant, fresh finishes to residential communities. As an integral part of our renovation and maintenance team, you will transform apartment interiors and exteriors with precision and artistry. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, airless paint sprayers, or power tools across various surfaces including walls, ceilings, trim, stucco, masonry, and fixtures. Utilize hand tools such as putty knives, scrapers, trowels, and carpentry tools for repairs or finishing touches like trim carpentry and fixture installation. Perform restoration work on damaged surfaces or during remodeling projects involving framing, drywall installation, plastering, or masonry. Conduct surface preparation tasks including concrete finishing and masonry repairs to ensure a smooth foundation for painting. Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety protocols related to construction site experience, welding procedures (if applicable), and the use of power tools. Experience Proven experience in residential painting with a strong understanding of color theory and paint application techniques. Familiarity with commercial painting projects as well as industrial painting processes when necessary. Knowledge of renovation processes including drywall repair, plastering, stucco application, restoration work, and fixture installation. Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently on construction sites or during maintenance tasks. Prior handyman experience or general construction background is highly desirable. Basic math skills for measuring surfaces accurately and estimating materials needed for each project.
