Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Painter and bring vibrant visions to life across residential, commercial, and renovation projects! This energetic role is perfect for skilled craftsmen who thrive on transforming spaces with precision and creativity. As a Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint, stains, and coatings to a variety of surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes that enhance the beauty and durability of each project. Your expertise in construction painting, surface preparation, and finishing will be essential to delivering outstanding results that exceed client expectations. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Use hand tools, power tools, airless paint sprayers, and scaffolding safely and efficiently to achieve smooth, even coats on walls, ceilings, trim, stucco, masonry, and other surfaces. Read blueprints and schematics accurately to determine project scope and specific painting requirements for residential and commercial spaces. Execute renovation and restoration projects by matching colors using color theory principles and applying specialty finishes as needed. Perform carpentry tasks such as trim carpentry, frame carpentry, fixture installation, and basic masonry work to support comprehensive project completion. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris responsibly while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites. Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship. Requirements Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, construction painting, or renovation projects with a strong portfolio of completed work. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding systems, airless paint spraying equipment, welding tools, and other relevant construction equipment. Knowledge of construction estimating processes and ability to interpret blueprints or schematics accurately. Familiarity with surface preparation techniques including plastering, caulking, stucco application, concrete finishing, masonry work, and restoration methods. Understanding of color theory principles for achieving desired aesthetic effects in various environments. Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations confidently. Strong construction site experience with safety awareness and adherence to industry standards.
