Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. Focusing on high end custom homes and repeat clientele all while offering a one of a kind work enviroment. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial painting, with a strong understanding of all paint application methods, products, and construction practices. This role involves preparing of surfaces and job sites, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on various projects. The Painter will work closely with other construction professionals and team members to deliver exceptional results. Duties Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Read and interpret blueprints and color schedules to understand project requirements. Estimate materials needed for each job based on project specifications. Collaborate with team members on renovation and restoration projects. Perform maintenance tasks including caulking, plastering, and trim carpentry. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Ensure compliance with safety regulations on construction sites. Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the duration of the project. Qualifications Proven experience in residential and commercial painting. Strong knowledge of and application techniques. Familiarity with construction estimating and basic math skills for material calculations. Experience with drywall repairs preferred. Ability to read blueprints accurately. Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and airless paint spraying equipment. Previous construction site experience is essential; maintenance person experience is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
