In this role, you will be responsible for delivering top-quality painting services across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Execute painting tasks using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and power tools to achieve smooth, even finishes. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to accurately determine project scope and color schemes based on color theory principles. Apply various coatings including residential, commercial, industrial, stucco, masonry, and restoration paints to diverse surfaces. Perform caulking, trim carpentry, fixture installation, and basic carpentry tasks like framing and drywall finishing to support comprehensive renovation projects. Use construction estimating skills to assess project requirements, materials needed, and timeframes for efficient job completion. Maintain safety standards on construction sites by handling scaffolding, working with welding equipment when necessary, and adhering to all safety protocols. Assist with remodeling projects by performing masonry work, concrete finishing, plastering, and maintenance tasks as needed. Operate hand tools and power tools proficiently while ensuring quality workmanship throughout each project phase. Requirements Proven experience in residential painting with strong knowledge of construction painting techniques. Familiarity with commercial painting projects and industrial coatings is highly desirable. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and schematics related to construction projects. Skilled in using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, scrapers, caulking guns, as well as power tools including airless sprayers and grinders. Knowledge of color theory to assist clients in selecting appropriate color schemes that enhance space aesthetics. Experience with plastering, stucco application, masonry work, framing carpentry, fixture installation, and renovation projects. Construction site experience demonstrating safety awareness and the ability to work efficiently in dynamic environments. Basic math skills for measurements and estimations; familiarity with construction estimating is a plus. Strong handyman skills including caulking, trim carpentry, restoration work, welding (if applicable), and general maintenance.
