OPEN UNTIL FILLED PAINTER

12-month position; Monday- Thursday; 10 hours/day; 5am to 3:30pm $23.20/hour for 90 day probationary period, then $25.78/hour Must have working knowledge of standard practice methods, materials, tools, equipment of painting trade; characteristics of paints, varnishes, stains, solvents, etc. Knowledge of methods of preparing wood, metal, glass, plaster, brick, cement and other surfaces. Knowledge of standard safety practices, ability to work on scaffolding; swing stages.

Education:

High school graduate/GED and successful completion of a three-year apprenticeship and one year working experience as a painter.
