Job Description

Alpine Painting Inc. has been serving the Bitterroot Valley for over 20 years, with custom residential repaints and new construction. We are looking for a full or part time experienced painter for interior and exterior prep, painting and staining. You must have your own transportation for most jobs. Your hourly wage will depend on how many years of experience you have and your own personal drive to learn, lead and teach others. Summary As a Painter, you will be essential in delivering high-quality residential and commercial painting services. Reporting to the project manager, your core skills in residential and construction painting will ensure that projects meet client expectations. You will utilize premium skills in color theory to achieve desired aesthetics, while your relevant skills in blueprint reading, drywall, and renovation will enhance your effectiveness on the job. Responsibilities Execute residential and commercial painting projects, ensuring high-quality finishes. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying necessary primers. Utilize color theory to mix paints and achieve desired aesthetics. Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to meet renovation deadlines. Read blueprints and follow specifications for drywall and trim carpentry work. Maintain a safe and organized work environment on construction sites. Qualifications Proficient in residential and commercial painting techniques Strong understanding of color theory and its application Experience with drywall installation and repair Skilled in using hand tools and construction equipment Knowledge of renovation processes and project management Familiarity with blueprint reading and construction site protocols Basic math skills for accurate measurements and estimations
