New Construction Professional Painter

Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and specialty coatings Perform drywall finishing as needed for comprehensive project completion Use construction estimating skills to assess material needs and ensure efficient use of resources on-site Maintain safety standards by properly handling tools like scaffolding, ladders etc. while adhering to OSHA regulations Conduct restoration work on existing structures during renovation projects or after damage repair efforts Experience Proven experience working on construction sites with a strong understanding of residential painting techniques Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and basic math for measurement calculations Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying equipment, and maintenance of painting tools Knowledge of construction estimating processes and material management for efficient project execution Background in related trades such as carpentry (trim and frame), sheetrock etc. is highly desirable Ability to work safely at heights using scaffolding or ladders while maintaining focus on quality standards Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with project managers, contractors, and team members Join us in shaping the future of construction projects with your craftsmanship!
