Sí se habla Español. Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dependable Painter to join our dynamic painting and home improvement team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing for and applying paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of surfaces in residential and commercial settings. Your expertise will help transform spaces, enhance their durability, and ensure a high-quality finish that meets project specifications. Often we will be working in someone's home around their belongings, family, and pets. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and patching to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality. Apply primers, paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, and airless paint sprayers. Use of some power tools. Read and interpret instructions and job scope to accurately execute painting projects aligned with product and design specifications. Perform surface repairs including drywall compound, caulking, stucco application, and wood restoration work to ensure smooth and durable finishes. Execute various types of painting projects such as residential painting, commercial painting, and construction site painting. Utilize carpentry skills for trim carpentry, frame carpentry, fixture installation, drywall work, and remodeling tasks as needed. Maintain safety standards on-site by properly handling tools like scaffolding equipment, and materials while adhering to job site protocols. Skills Extensive experience with hand tools and power tools used in painting and surface preparation. Ability to distinguish between different paint colors and sheens. Ability to read instructions on paint products accurately for proper application process. Knowledge of various painting techniques including brushing (cut-in and trim), rolling (9"&18" rollers), and airless spray application methods. Familiarity with renovation processes such as drywall installation, plastering, caulking, restoration work, and remodeling projects. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to surface area or material quantities. Experience with maintenance tasks involving fixture installation or handyman repairs on construction sites. Note:

Applicants should have prior construction site experience with exposure to residential or commercial painting environments. A background in drywall or carpentry is a plus but not mandatory. Having your own tools is a plus but not required. Drivers license and dependable transportation is necessary to receive the maximum pay potential and have the greatest growth and earning potential on a weekly basis.

Pay:

$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
