Cabinet Painter

Overview We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both industrial and commercial painting, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. This role requires proficiency in various painting techniques and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. As a Painter, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the aesthetic appeal and durability of our projects. Duties Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing as necessary. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the scope of work. Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution. Perform touch-ups and repairs on painted surfaces as needed. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Requirements Proven experience in industrial painting and commercial painting. Familiarity with stucco application techniques is a plus. Basic math skills for measuring areas and calculating paint quantities. Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. Experience in masonry or construction estimating is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with excellent craftsmanship skills. A maintenance person background is preferred but not required. Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
