Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques and a strong understanding of surface preparation, application methods, and safety practices. Responsibilities Thoroughly prepare cabinet surfaces for the application of finishes, encompassing sanding, meticulous cleaning, and precise imperfection repair. Apply a variety of primers, paints, stains, and clear coats with proficiency, utilizing advanced spray equipment, brushes, and rollers. Ensure that all finished surfaces adhere to the highest quality standards, exhibiting an absence of drips, runs, or uneven application. Accurately mix and match paint colors to achieve specified shades and desired aesthetic finishes. Maintain and meticulously clean all painting equipment, including but not limited to spray guns, ventilation booths, and associated tools. Strictly adhere to established safety protocols and procedures, including the proper handling and environmentally responsible disposal of hazardous materials. Collaborate effectively with the production team to ensure the timely and efficient completion of all assigned projects. Conduct rigorous inspections of finished products to verify adherence to quality and consistency specifications. Qualifications Demonstrated professional experience as a cabinet painter or in a comparable role within a woodworking or manufacturing environment. Demonstrated proficiency in the operation of various painting equipment, including High Volume Low Pressure (HVLP), air assisted and airless spray guns. Extensive knowledge of diverse wood types, staining agents, paints, and advanced finishing techniques. Possesses an exceptional level of attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to producing work of the highest quality. Capable of working autonomously and collaboratively within a dynamic, fast-paced production environment. Comprehensive understanding of safety guidelines and the appropriate utilization of personal protective equipment (PPE). Possesses the physical capacity to stand for extended durations, lift moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks as required by the position.
