JOB DESCRIPTION

Education:

High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Qualifications:

Must have a valid driver's license and be 18 years of age or older. Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following: Paint interior and exterior of district buildings and structures. Take direction from the lead painter on projects to be completed. Dependability is important for this position and employee is expected to be on time and flexible in their job duties. Will be required to wear safety equipment when appropriate to the job.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; occasionally walk and stand. Lift sixty (60) lbs. occasionally, with the ability to reach, stand, walk, carry, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, sit, and/or crawl. Employee must be able to climb ladders and paint on scaffolding. Maintain effective audio/visual discrimination and perception to the degree necessary for the successful performance of assigned duties; Maintain mental capacity, allowing for effective interaction and communication with others. The job is performed under some temperature extremes and under conditions with some exposure to risk of injury and/or illness.

Work Schedule:

May through August.

Hours:

6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Thursday
