Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. In this role, you will professionally prepare and finish surfaces by applying paint and related coatings to protect structures, enhance appearance, and meet quality standards for commercial projects. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, knowledge of proper painting techniques, and the ability to produce high-quality finishes while maintaining safety and cleanliness on job sites. Responsibilities Prepare and repair surfaces through scraping, sanding, patching, priming, caulking, and sealing Apply paints, stains, varnishes, coatings, and specialty finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment Build scaffolding safely according to regulations Protect surrounding areas and maintain clean, safe job sites in compliance with OSHA guidelines Match and mix paint colors accurately; inspect finished work for quality and consistency Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas Communicate job progress with supervisors and team members Perform other duties as assigned Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods Balance and ability to climb ladders, scaffolding, and work at heights or in confined spaces Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 60 lbs Manual dexterity to operate tools and equipment Visual acuity to distinguish colors, textures, and surface imperfections Tolerance for dust, fumes, odors, and variable indoor/outdoor temperatures Ability to wear required PPE, including respirators Working Conditions Work performed indoors and outdoors, commercial, or industrial job sites Work conditions include but may not be limited to: commercial painting environments on new construction sites, tenant improvement projects, or remodels with varying temperatures conditions working with and around commercial painting products.
