Overview Join our dynamic team as a Painter and bring spaces to life with color, precision, and craftsmanship! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for transforming residential, commercial, and industrial environments through expert painting techniques. Your expertise will ensure that every project meets high standards of quality, safety, and aesthetic appeal. Whether working on renovation projects or new constructions, you'll play a vital part in creating beautiful, durable finishes that stand the test of time. Duties Prepare surfaces meticulously by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and specialty coatings using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and power tools for efficient coverage Read blueprints and schematics to accurately determine scope of work and color schemes based on color theory principles Execute construction painting tasks on various surfaces including drywall, stucco, masonry, concrete finishing, and framing components in residential, commercial, or industrial settings Perform fixture installation and trim carpentry to enhance aesthetic appeal and functionality of spaces during renovation or remodeling projects Utilize construction estimating skills to assess project requirements and materials needed for each job Maintain safety protocols on construction sites while handling tools like welding equipment and scaffolding to ensure a secure work environment Experience Proven experience in residential painting with a solid understanding of color theory and finishing techniques Hands-on experience with commercial and industrial painting projects across diverse construction sites Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, welding equipment, and airless spray systems effectively Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and basic math for accurate measurements and calculations Knowledge of plastering, caulking, stucco application, masonry work, restoration projects, and fixture installation is highly desirable Background in construction estimating, renovation projects, carpentry (including trim carpentry and frame carpentry), handyman tasks, concrete finishing, masonry work, maintenance tasks or related fields is preferred Construction site experience demonstrating adherence to safety standards while managing multiple tasks efficiently Join us if you're passionate about transforming spaces through expert craftsmanship!
