Since 1975, Alpine Painting has provided painting & floor coating services for the Tri-State Area. Alpine Painting and Sandblasting, has years of surface preparation and coating application experience in a wide variety of facilities, including Warehouses, Hospitals, Manufacturing Facilities, or any project that demands commercial & industrial painting services. Our reputation of quality is achieved from our knowledge of materials and unrivaled expertise in the preparation and application of coating systems. We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Commercial Painter Crew Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial painting and leadership, with the ability to lead a crew effectively and ensure projects are completed to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, patching, or power washing to ensure proper paint adhesion. Apply primers, sealers, and finishing coats of paint, varnish, stain, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment. Mix and match paints to achieve the desired color, texture, or finish. Protect surrounding areas and surfaces with drop cloths, masking, or taping to prevent damage or overspray. Operate and maintain painting tools, spray machines, scaffolding, and other equipment safely. Follow blueprints, specifications, and work orders to complete jobs to exact standards. Work on a variety of surfaces including walls, ceilings, doors, trim, and industrial structures. Ensure proper clean-up of tools, workspaces, and materials after each project. Comply with all OSHA safety standards, company policies, and jobsite requirements. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects on time and within budget. Inspect painted surfaces for touch-ups and quality assurance.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a commercial painter, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in commercial painting projects. Demonstrated leadership skills and experience leading a painting crew or team of workers. Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and equipment used in commercial painting applications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, contractors, and team members. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Authorized to work in the U.S for any employer
