The ideal candidate will have experience in residential, commercial, and industrial painting, with a strong understanding of various painting techniques, surface preparation, and finishing. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, including restoration, remodeling, and new construction, utilizing a wide range of tools and skills to deliver high-quality results. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, plastering, or applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, airless paint sprayers, or power tools Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine project specifications and color schemes Perform specialized painting tasks such as industrial coating applications or stucco finishes as needed Install fixtures and trim carpentry components related to painting projects Conduct restoration work on existing surfaces to improve appearance and durability Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for surface preparation and finishing Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to meet project deadlines and quality standards Maintain a clean work environment and properly store tools and materials Qualifications Proven experience in residential, commercial, or industrial painting projects Knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics, and basic math for measurement calculations Skilled in surface preparation techniques including sanding, caulking, plastering, and masonry work Familiarity with various painting methods such as airless spray systems and brush/roller application Experience with renovation projects involving remodeling or restoration work Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, scaffolding equipment, welding equipment (preferred), and other related machinery Strong understanding of color theory for effective color matching and design coordination Construction site experience with safety protocols adherence is essential Additional skills such as carpentry (trim framing), concrete finishing, masonry work, fixture installation, or handyman experience are advantageous Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various environmental conditions Join our team to contribute your expertise in painting while working on exciting projects that enhance our clients' spaces.
