• Contract Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial Painter who can speak fluent ENGLISH to join our dynamic construction team.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting services across a variety of commercial projects, including office buildings, retail spaces, industrial facilities, and renovation sites. Your expertise will help transform spaces with precision and professionalism, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply paint, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and power tools. Read blueprints and schematics to accurately interpret project specifications and color schemes aligned with client requirements. Perform surface repairs including plastering, caulking, stucco application, and basic drywall finishing to create smooth, professional finishes. Execute specialized painting techniques for industrial or restoration projects while adhering to safety standards and project timelines. Install fixtures, trim carpentry, framing components, and perform masonry or concrete finishing as needed for comprehensive project completion. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials on-site; ensure all safety protocols are followed at construction sites. Qualifications Proven experience in commercial painting along with construction site experience across various projects such as renovations or new builds. Knowledge of construction estimating processes and ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, ladders, and industrial equipment safely and efficiently. Familiarity with color theory to achieve desired aesthetic effects and precise color matching. Experience with construction estimating or basic math skills for measuring areas and calculating paint quantities. Hands-on experience in related trades such as carpentry (trim or frame), masonry, plastering, or welding is a plus. Strong understanding of safety standards related to construction painting including proper handling of hazardous materials when applicable.
