Job Summary Join our dynamic construction team as a Painter's Helper, where you'll play a vital role in supporting painting projects across residential, commercial, and renovation sites. This energetic position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of construction painting while working alongside skilled professionals. As a Painter's Helper, you will assist with surface preparation, tool handling, and basic painting tasks, ensuring that each project is completed efficiently and to high standards. This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in the construction industry and contribute to transforming spaces with quality finishes. Responsibilities Assist lead painters with surface preparation including sanding, scraping, and cleaning walls or other surfaces before painting begins Handle and operate hand tools and power tools such as brushes, rollers, sprayers, and caulking guns to apply paint or primer Support with the setup and breakdown of work areas, including taping, masking, and protecting furniture or fixtures Help with the installation of fixtures, trim carpentry, or other finishing details like molding or baseboards Prepare surfaces by performing basic plastering, caulking, or masonry work as needed for optimal paint adhesion Follow safety protocols on construction sites while assisting with tasks like scaffolding setup or working at heights Qualifications Prior experience in construction painting or related trades such as drywall repair, restoration, or renovation is preferred but not required Familiarity with hand tools, power tools Basic math skills for measuring surfaces Ability to work safely on construction sites while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to craftsmanship and excellence!
