Painter/Laborer

Duties:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and filling holes and cracks
• Apply paint, stain, varnish, enamel, or other finishes to surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray guns
• Mix and match colors to achieve desired shades
• Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect surrounding areas from paint splatters
• Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment
• Assist with basic carpentry tasks such as framing and drywall installation
• Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary

Experience:

• Previous experience as a painter or laborer is required.
• Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in painting and carpentry work
• Knowledge of different types of paint and finishes
• Basic math skills for measuring and calculating paint quantities
• Experience with caulking, plastering, welding, or airless paint spraying is a plus
