We are seeking an experienced Painter with strong residential and commercial skills to join our team. We take pride in craftsmanship, attention to detail, and maintaining a clean, professional work environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, takes ownership of their work, and represents the company with professionalism in clients' homes and on job sites. This role focuses on painting high-end apartment units —combining the efficiency of a commercial setting with the precision and finish quality of high-end residential work. All supplies will be provided, and we have our own storage workshop space on site. ⸻ Scope of Work This position includes, but is not limited to: Interior painting and occasionally staining. Surface preparation (patching, sanding, caulking, priming) Drywall touch-ups and minor repairs Trim, doors, and cabinetry finishing Spraying, rolling, and brushing with precision Color matching and finish selection assistance Jobsite setup, masking, and cleanup Occasional collaboration on full-scale remodel projects ⸻ Qualifications Minimum 5 years of professional painting experience (residential and/or commercial) Skilled in all phases of prep and finish work Able to produce high-quality results efficiently and consistently Strong eye for detail and clean workmanship Reliable transportation and a valid, clean driver's license Experience with airless and HVLP sprayers preferred Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or with a small crew Comfortable communicating directly with homeowners and teammates ⸻ What We Offer Year-round, full-time employment Competitive pay: $30-$35/hr 401(k) with company match up to 3% Health, dental, and vision insurance (Ask about the details) Paid holidays and negotiable vacation time Holiday bonuses All consumable job supplies provided (plastic, tape, brushes, rollers, sandpaper, etc.) Opportunities for advancement within a growing company About Element of Pride Founded in 2018 by Tony Tefel and Aaron Dana, Element of Pride has built a strong reputation for exceptional remodeling and finish work throughout the Rochester region.
