Painter Job Description We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various painting techniques, particularly in commercial settings. This role involves preparing and painting surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes for new constructions and remodels. Responsibilities Perform painting using brush and roll techniques with precision and attention to detail. Prepare surfaces by patching drywall and sanding any imperfections to ensure a smooth finish. Cover all surfaces, including floors, and move furniture to prevent damage during painting. Execute 'cutting in' by painting edges and corners without the use of painters tape. Utilize rollers on extendable poles for covering large areas efficiently. Work on commercial projects, including new constructions and renovations of office buildings and business parks. Essential Skills Prior experience in commercial painting. Proficiency in brush and roll techniques, including cutting and trimming. Consistent work history in painting and construction. Experience in paint preparation and finishing. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with caulking in construction settings. Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively. The position focuses on commercial projects, whether it be new construction or remodels. Our projects include office buildings and business parks, providing a dynamic work environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Webster, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
