Job Description
Junior Painter We are a painting company based in Akron, Ohio and we are seeking a Junior Painter to join our team. As a Junior Painter, you will work closely with our experienced painters to learn the skills and techniques needed to become a successful painter. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in starting a career in painting and has little or no experience in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Assist senior painters with preparing surfaces for painting by sanding, priming, and filling cracks and holes
- Learn how to properly mix paint and use various painting techniques such as brush, roller, and spray
- Help with clean-up after each job by removing drop cloths, cleaning brushes, and organizing materials
- Follow safety procedures at all times while working on job sites
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently
Requirements:
- No previous experience required; training will be provided
- Must have basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in painting
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects as needed
