We've built our reputation on doing things the right way — quality work, clear communication, and treating every customer like they're the only one. We're looking for exterior painting subcontractors who take the same pride in their work that we do. If you run a tight operation, show up when you say you will, and do work you're proud to put your name on — we want to talk. What the Work Looks Like You'd be taking on exterior painting projects across the greater Cleveland area as part of our subcontractor network. Work is project-based and pay is based on a percentage of the job minus paint and materials. During our peak exterior season (April through October), there's consistent work available for subs who perform well and communicate clearly. Residential exterior painting (primary focus) Some commercial work depending on availability What We Require These are non-negotiables — please don't apply if you can't meet all of them: Active LLC in good standing General liability insurance ($500K per occurrence / $1M aggregate) with Textbook Painting named as an additional insured If you have W-2 employees, active Ohio BWC coverage is required Your own vehicle and reliable transportation to job sites Your own ladders, tools, and equipment What We're Looking For We're open to experienced solo operators and small crews alike — what matters most is that you're licensed, insured, professional, and serious about quality. You should be comfortable working independently, communicating proactively if anything changes on a job, and representing Textbook Painting well in front of our customers.
