In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to various surfaces across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces, enhance aesthetics, and ensure durable, high-quality results. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and possesses a strong understanding of different painting techniques and surface preparation methods. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion Apply paint, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and power tools Read blueprints and schematics to accurately determine project scope and specifications for residential, commercial, or industrial painting jobs Perform surface repairs including plastering, stucco application, masonry work, and drywall finishing as needed for renovation or restoration projects Execute specialized tasks such as trim carpentry, fixture installation, framing, caulking, and masonry work to achieve seamless results Operate construction equipment including scaffolding, ladders, power tools, welding equipment (if qualified), and concrete finishing tools safely and efficiently Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites Skills Extensive experience with construction estimating and reading blueprints or schematics Proficiency in residential painting techniques along with commercial and industrial painting applications Strong knowledge of color theory to select appropriate hues and finishes for various surfaces Skilled in using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, scrapers, caulking guns, and power tools including airless sprayers Familiarity with plastering, stucco application, restoration work, and renovation processes Ability to perform carpentry tasks like trim carpentry and framing; experience with masonry or concrete finishing is a plus Basic math skills for measurements and calculations; handyman experience is advantageous for versatile project support Join our team if you're passionate about transforming spaces with precision and creativity!
